Acer's Swift X already delivered a lot of power for its price, and right now, it's on sale for under $1,000.
Acer's Swift X laptop is on sale for less than $1,000 right now. The laptop aims to deliver enough power for getting work done while remaining thin and light. It only weighs 1.39 kb (3.08 lbs) but runs on an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U CPU and an NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti GPU. Its current deal drops its price by $70 on Amazon.
This isn't a massive discount off the laptop's normal price, but it does bring the Acer Swift X down to under $1,000. The laptop already delivered solid specs for its price, and saving $70 is always welcome.
Acer Swift X | $70 off
The Acer Swift X is the sweet spot between power and portability. It runs on a Ryzen 7 5800U CPU and an NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti GPU.
The Acer Swift X has a 14-inch FHD display with 100% sRGB. The laptop has a screen-to-body ratio of 85.7%, thanks to its thin bezels. It also has a fingerprint reader, Kensington lock slot, and support for Wi-Fi 6.
Our executive editor Daniel Rubino went hands-on with the Acer Swift X earlier this year. He calls it "an in-between laptop that is still super light 1.39 kg (3.06 lbs) but can also deliver some serious power when needed."
To get the Swift X to such a low price point, there are some compromises. The display of the laptop only reaches 300 nits of brightness. It's also FHD instead of 1440p or higher. The Swift X also has bottom-firing speakers and its webcam isn't great. Those won't be dealbreakers for many, but they're worth noting.
