The Dell S2721DGF monitor is a fantastic display, and we saw it drop to just $329.99 for Black Friday. However, right now you can get for that same low price, which is $70 off what it normally goes for, with a $50 gift card through the Dell website. That's an extra $50 in value you can spend on anything at the Dell store. Best Buy was the first place to drop the price, but you can't get that extra $50 gift card there. The drop to $330 by itself is the lowest price we've seen since February, so that's already a great deal.
The $50 gift card is rewarded to your Dell.com account within 30 days of the monitor shipping. It expires in 90 days, so you'll want to use it, but we're sure we'll see some other great deals at Dell before Christmas anyway. Find some good ideas in Dell's Cyber Monday deals page that includes everything from laptops to PC accessories.
Dell S2721DGF 27-inch monitor | $70 off + $50 gift card
This is a top notch gaming monitor. It has a native 1440p resolution with a refresh rate up to 165 Hz and a 1ms response time. Has an IPS panel with great viewing angles and colors. Includes two HDMI, one DisplayPort, and a USB 3.0 hub.
The Dell 27-inch screen has specifications that include a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440, a 1ms response time, and a refresh rate that maxes out at 165Hz, which is awesome. You'll need the right connection for that, but you should still be able to get 144Hz even with HDMI. The 1ms response time is particularly impressive because Dell's monitor uses an IPS panel. The previous versions of this screen used a TN panel to reach that response time, which meant worse viewing angles and less accurate color. With this generation you get much better specs overall while still maintaining the benefits of the other version.
You can also reduce screen tearing with this monitor thanks to adaptive sync. It has AMD FreeSync by default, which works with your AMD graphics card. It's also Nvidia G-Sync compatible, which means you can get the same feature if you're using a Nvidia graphics card. However, in order to get the G-Sync working, you'll need to be connected to the DisplayPort, which is also how you reach that 165Hz refresh rate.
Other connections besides the DIsplayPort include two HDMI ports that can hit 144Hz and a USB hub that has two USB-A 3.0 ports for connecting other peripherals.
