How to Fix “GSOD: 20211113001” on Windows 11 (Ready)

Windows update went wrong – Some Windows updates come with corruption errors, which prevent your operating system from working properly. If the issue under consideration started occurring after you installed the latest updates, uninstalling them should do the trick.

Update Graphics Card Driver

As we mentioned earlier, an outdated graphics card driver is one of the most common reasons behind the issue at hand.

If you haven’t updated your drivers in a long time, then try doing it now.

Type Device Manager in the search area of your taskbar and hit Open to launch the Device Manager window.
In the newly launched window, locate Display adapters and expand the option by double-clicking on it.
This should display a list of the graphics card driver on your PC. Right-click on your graphics card and select Update driver from the context menu.
Now, click on Browse my computer for drivers.
In the next window, click on Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.

Remove Unwanted Applications

Press Windows + I keys simultaneously on your keyboard to launch Windows Settings.

Temporarily Disable Antivirus

Install Pending Updates (if applicable)

Resetting Windows will revert the operating system to its initial error-free state. You can choose whether to keep your personal files or not, so do not worry about losing your essential data. However, before you proceed, note that this process will erase your installed apps and settings.

Here is how you can reset your PC:

Press Windows + I keys simultaneously on your PC to open Windows Settings.
In the newly launched Windows, select Windows Update from the left panel.
Now click on Advanced options in the right pane and select Recovery.
Next, click on the Reset PC button as shown below.
A prompt will appear on your screen with two options; whether to keep the files or remove everything. Select one according to your preferences to proceed.
Finally, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
