MicroCenter is offering free 32GB DDR5 RAM kits with Ryzen 7000 CPUs

Currently, MicroCenter is offering a tempting deal on Ryzen 7000 CPUs, but only for customers who can pick them up in-store and only in the United States.

With the purchase of any Ryzen 7 or Ryzen 9 7000 processor, the business is giving away a 32GB RAM kit. The kit contains two 16GB DDR5-5600 modules with a 36 CAS Latency. This G.Skill Flare X5 series has EXPO profiles pre-installed.

In other words, the DDR5 memory and Ryzen CPUs are both brand-new items that have only recently (memory) become accessible (CPU). The memory is worth 189 USD on its own. This means that the price of the CPU would decrease to USD 210 with the purchase of Ryzen 7 7700X.

What is significant is that while all Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 SKUs are included in this promotion, the Ryzen 5 7600X is not. Additionally, if consumers choose “compatible qualifying motherboard,” they may receive an additional $20 off their order.

It is therefore a little disappointing that the least expensive AM5 CPU is left out, but one can only speculate about the kinds of deals that will be offered in conjunction with the debut of the AMD B650 motherboard next month.

Having said that, AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper 7000 CPUs have already begun to appear, and the Ryzen 7000G lineup, which is expected to debut in late 2023, will essentially use an updated design that may even include Zen 4 with RDNA 2 or RDNA 3 cores like the Phoenix Point APUs and launch on the AM5 platform with DDR5 support, is expected to hit the shelves soon.

Unfortunately, we are unable to find similar discounts at other shop websites, let alone in other nations that are now experiencing difficulties with the US Dollar exchange rate and generally paying less for PC components.
