It has been announced that Private Division and Bloober Team are collaborating on a new survival horror game. The release date of the game is projected to be sometime in 2025, as development has just begun. The Private Division Development Fund was also introduced to provide funding for projects and mentoring for smaller, independent development teams so that they can self-publish their games.
Horror fans, rejoice! #BlooberTeam is working on an all-new survival-horror game and @PrivateDivision steps in as the global publisher. It's all in early development and we will share more details about this game in the future.#PrivateDivision #SurvivalHorrorGame pic.twitter.com/Wihor43RWj

With rising popularity over the last few years, Bloober Team is renowned for the sheer volume of games they have put out. Across all of these titles, Bloober Team has collaborated with a wide variety of publishers, many of which are focused on smaller independent releases. A partnership with the Private Division is a promising next step. Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said:
Our next project is an exciting new survival horror game, which will help us become a leader in the horror industry at large. I am grateful for this cooperation with Private Division. Their expertise is extensive, and their people are also very approachable. We don’t perceive them in a typical ‘publisher-developer’ relationship; they’re more like a friend who shows us support or keeps us in line when we need it most.”
Private Division, on the other hand, is not only related to 2K and Rockstar Games but also operates as a separate division within Take-Two Interactive. When compared to other Take Two‘s publishing subsidiaries, Private Division prioritizes indie studios and their games. As for the development fund, Private Division Head of Business Development Blake Rochkind stated:
Since we introduced Private Division five years ago, we’ve seen a lot of promising ideas from teams that don’t quite fit our editorial model. Today, we are aware that we cannot have the same approach for everyone. We’ve never liked incredible gaming concepts being rejected because of the size of the project, and the Private Division Development Fund allows us to identify and support some of the best creative ideas in the industry.”
We see this trend continue the following year as well with games like Silent Hill 2 and the remake of Resident Evil 4. It’s safe to assume that their upcoming game will be just as terrifying as everything else coming out this year. As of now, this is all we know, however we will make sure to keep you updated as new information becomes available.
