0x80860010 is an Error Code that occurs when accessing the Applications downloaded from the Microsoft Store. This error prevents you from opening applications such as OneDrive and Microsoft Office. It occurs due to corruption in the Microsoft Store cache. 1. Change the Time Zone

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
- Select all the temporary log files by pressing the Ctrl + A keys together.
- Delete the files by right-clicking on them and selecting the “Delete” option.
5. Reset the Microsoft Store Cache
Since the error occurs due to corruption in the Store Cache, you must reset the Microsoft Store Cache to delete the temporary data that corrupted the programs and caused the error. You can rest the Microsoft Store Cache as follows:
- Open the Windows Run Command by pressing the Win + R keys together.

10. Re-install Microsoft Store App Using PowerShell
If you are still facing the error, then you must reinstall the Microsoft Store App using Windows PowerShell. You can do that by following the steps given below:
- Open Avast Antivirus and navigate to Menu > Settings > Protection > Core Shield.
- Disable the Avast security feature by turning off the Core-Shield toggle switch.
- Right-click on the Windows Start icon and select the “Task Manager” option.
- Close the Avast Software by right-clicking the Avast program and selecting the “End Task” option.
- Open the Windows Start Menu by pressing the Win key.
- Type “Powershell” in the search box.

- Paste the following commands into the PowerShell window and press the Enter key:
Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage
- Once the above commands have been executed, paste the following commands and press the Enter key
Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
- After all, commands have been executed, the Microsoft Store App will be reinstalled automatically.
- Restart your computer to make the necessary changes.
11. Run the System on Safe Mode
If the error persists, you must run the system on Safe Mode which is a built-in feature in Windows that allows the system to start with default programs and a minimal set of drivers. You can run the system on Safe Mode as shown below:
- Open the Run Command by pressing the Win + R keys together.
- Open System Configuration by typing “msconfig” in the search box and clicking OK.
- Open the Boot tab and check the “Safe Mode” box.
- Click on “Minimal” under Safe Mode.

- Open the Official Microsoft Website.
- Download the tool by clicking on the “Download Now” option under “Create Windows 10 installation media.”
- Select the folder you want to download the file from and select the Save option.
- Open the browser’s download page by clicking on the Three dots at the top right part of the browser and click on the Downloads options.
- Open the file location by clicking on the” Show in Folder” option.
- Open the EXE file by right-clicking on it and selecting the “Open” option.
- Confirm the actions by clicking “YES” on the User Account Control Prompt.
- Accept the terms and conditions by clicking on the “Accept” option.
- Upgrade the system by selecting the “Upgrade this PC Now” option on the “What do you want to do now” page.
- Install the Setup by clicking on the “Install” option.
- Select your sign-in account after the installation.
- Choose the privacy settings for your device and click on the “Accept” option.
- Use Cortana by clicking on the “Use Cortana” option.
