Google has unveiled the Pixel 10 Pro in a teaser video ahead of next month's launch. This is what the phone looks like.
It seems very similar to the Pixel 9, doesn't it? There is one difference, the inclusion of a third sensor on the camera bar, which is said to be a telephoto lens. Rumors suggest that the phone will feature a 48 megapixel primary camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 10.8 MP telephoto sensor. This will be the first time that the basic Pixel phone, i.e. the Pixel 10 will have more than 2 rear cameras.
The upcoming phone was spotted in a video on Google's online store, it has a Gray/Blue tinge. Here's another image of the phone that the Mountain View company shared on X.
The Pixel 10 will come in more colorways, here's what they look like, courtesy Android Headlines. According to the report, the colors are named as follows: Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, and Limoncello. They sure look nice and bright compared to the rather muted colors of the Pixel 9.
Google has reportedly opted for TSMC's foundries instead of Samsung, for the Tensor 5 chip that will power the Pixel 10. The phone will run on Android 16 out of the box, but we can expect Google to announce some special Pixel-exclusive goodies, no doubt featuring some Gemini AI features as well.
Leaks indicate that the Pixel 10 will be priced at $899 (899 Euros), while the Pixel 10 Pro will start at 1099 Euros, the Pixel 10 Pro XL will cost 1299 Euros (256GB), and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will carry a 1899 Euro price tag. Those are some insane prices, a cool $100 more than the previous generation. I wonder if the iPhone 17 will have a similar price strategy.
Google is set to announce the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro at a Made by Pixel event that has been scheduled for August 20 (21 in some Countries).
