Earlier this year, Microsoft announced plans to make games outside the Game Pass umbrella, playable on Xbox Cloud Gaming. It seems Microsoft is finally delivering on that promise, and Elden Ring could be one of the first few games outside Game Pass, to come to xCloud.
Seems like #Xbox is ramping up their plans to bring Games that are not a part of #XboxGamePass to Xcloud.
Like GTA V, Soul Hackers 2 and Elden Ring.
Could be a Gamescom Announcement.

We’re excited to share that later this year, it’s our intent to roll out the ability for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play, from the cloud, select games they already own or have purchased outside the Xbox Game Pass library
And not only Elden Ring, even titles like GTA V and Soul Hackers 2 have the Cloud Gaming logo next to their titles.
Xbox xCloud is a cloud gaming service that is available only for Game Pass Ultimate members. So essentially, for games like Elden Ring or GTA V, which are titles outside Game Pass, xCloud users will need both an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription and a digital copy of the game. Unfortunately the games aren’t playable through Xbox Cloud Gaming yet, and Microsoft will most likely wait till an official announcement to enable the feature.
