Just recently, Videocardz got their hands on a few leaked images of GIGABYTE’s upcoming RTX 4080. The specific model we are looking at is the GIGABYTE EAGLE RTX 4080.
The GIGABYTE EAGLE RTX 4080
GIGABYTE is reinstating its EAGLE lineup with the 4080. This GPU features a triple fan configuration spanning across a rather wide 3.5 slots. As highlighted by Videocardz, GIGABYTE is reusing the RTX 4090’s cooler for the the RTX 4080. The GPU features a 16-pin conector for power delivery along with 3x DP1.4a + 1x HDMI2.1 ports.
Currently, this is the only GPU we have seen aside from the FE model from NVIDIA. Being the non-OC EAGLE variant, we expect it to be near MSRP ($1200).
The RTX 4080 16GB
The RTX 4080 16GB is packed with 16GB of GDDR6X memory over a 256-bit bus where the effective bandwidth stands at a whopping 720GB/s. Such insane bandwidths can be achieved thanks to the 22.5Gb/s memory which is 20% faster than last-gen. The 4080 16GB is equipped with the state of the art AD103 GPU and 9,728 CUDA Cores for those extra compute chops. This behemoth packs a punch and to top it off, it consumes just 320W of power.
Arriving the 16th of November priced at $1199.
