A while back, we reported that GALAX is allegedly preparing the highest-end RTX 4090 custom model to date. The GALAX RTX 4090 HOF (Hall Of Fame) reportedly features 2 x 16-pin connectors for almost 1200W of power. This is the first GPU ever to arrive with such a configuration. Of course, with such immense power, this GPU was tipped to almost certainly break a few world records and here we are. Benchlife reports that this behemoth of a GPU now has 20 world records to its name.
The Fastest RTX 4090
GALAX has not confirmed the existence of such a GPU, although it is expected to arrive very soon. The leaked PCB features a massive 36-phase VRM design. A few voltage measuring points are also present allowing overclockers to take real-time readings. Now, for the moment of truth, the RTX 4090 HOF has claimed the following records;
- 3DMark Port Royal / 31622
- 3DMark Time Spy / 41926
- 3DMark Time Spy Graphics Score / 44293
- 3DMark Time Spy Extreme Graphics Score / 23229
- 3DMark 11 Extreme / X59575
- 3DMark 11 Performance / 94414 (LOD)
- 3DMark Fire Strike / 74725
- 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme / 50941
- 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra / 30612
- GPUPI_32B / 49.049
- GPUPI_1B / 0.917
- Superposition 1080P Extreme / 29044
- Superposition 8K / 17896
- Catzilla 1080 / 136920
- Catzilla 1440P / 80417
- Catzilla 4K / 35156
- Catzilla 576P / 19352
- Catzilla 720 / 178780
- Unigine Basic / 16802.93
- Unigine Extreme / 16175.56
That is simply insane, although expected. The RTX 4090 HOF has no competitor as of now due to the exotic power delivery solution. This GPU can chug up almost 2x the power of a normal RTX 4090. Despite not scaling linearly, it will always perform better than other AIB RTX 4090s.
RTX 4090
The RTX 4090 is powered by the AD102 GPU, which is unparalleled in terms of performance. The GPU features a massive 24GB of Samsung-made GDDR6X memory running at 24Gbps for 1152GB/s of effective bandwidth. Packed with 16384 CUDA Cores, this powerhouse is home to 75 billion transistors in total, more than 2.5x than the RTX 3090 Ti. A price tag of $1599 for the 4090 has had its fair share of criticism from the community. Read more about the 4090 here.
