Sony will soon add new overhead wireless headphones to its lineup. The latest audio devices were recently discovered on the FCC website and various certification sites. A separate report from 91Mobiles have revealed design, colors, and key features of Sony WH-XB910N successor’s, in collaboration with tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer.

Sony WH-CH520 Specs, Renders and Promotional Materials:
Starting with the entry-level Sony WH-CH520, the headset will be a wireless-only headset with Bluetooth 5.2 and support for Multipoint Connection. It will have Built-in Microphone with buttons for Volume Control.
In terms of audio specifications, it will feature Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), Bass Boost, and Sound Adjustment that can be configured through Sony’s Headphones Connect application. The headset will be compatible with both Android and iPhone and will have support for both Google and Siri voice assistants. The device will have frequency response of 20Hz – 20,000Hz
The headset will have a USB Type-C port for charging. A full charge will give up to 50 hours of music playback time. The device will take approximately 3 hours for a full charge. It will also feature fast charging support, with a 3-minutes charge providing 1.5 hours of music playback time. The Sony WH-CH520 will weigh approximately 147g.
The retail box of the device will include the headphones, a USB Type-A to USB Type-C charging cable, and instructions. The headset will be available in Blue, Black, White and Beige colour options.
Sony WH-CH720N Specs, Renders and Promotional Materials:
The Sony WH-CH720N will succeed the Sony WH-CH710N and will be launched alongside the Sony WH-CH520. The Sony WH-CH720N will be equipped with Sony’s in-house Integrated Processor V1. This chip has been used in Sony’s top-of-the-line 1000X Series audio products. It helps to enhance sound quality and reduce distortion, and enables LDAC codec processing and DSEE Extreme.
The audio specifications of the headset include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), Bass Boost, and Sound Adjustment that can be configured using the Sony Headphones Connect app. The device will have frequency response of 7Hz – 20,000Hz
The Sony WH-CH720N can be used either wirelessly via Bluetooth or Wired with an AUX cable. It will use traditional Volume Control for adjusting the volume. The connectivity features of the device include Bluetooth 5.2, Built-in Microphone, support for Multipoint Connection, compatibility with both Android and iPhone and will have support for both Google and Siri voice assistants.
The Sony WH-CH720N will feature a USB Type-C port for charging and will offer up to 35 hours of music playback time with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) enabled. A full charge will take approximately 3.5 hours, and fast charging support is also included, providing 1 hour of music playback time with just a 3-minutes charge. The headset will have a weight of 192g.
The retail package of the device will come with the headphones, a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable, an AUX cable, and instructions. The headset will launch in Blue, Black, and White colour options.
Sony WH-CH520 and Sony WH-CH720N Prices:
Both headsets will be available for purchase from 24 February in most Europe countries. The entry level Sony WH-CH520 will cost EUR 69 and the midrange Sony WH-CH720N will cost EUR 149. It is important to note that prices may vary based on local VAT and other taxes in Europe.
