Vivo is set to launch its flagship Vivo X90 Series in India on 26 April. The devices were initially launched in China in November 2022, and the series consists of three models: Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+. However, Vivo has not yet launched the Vivo X90 Pro+ model outside of China.
In India, the Vivo X90 Series will consist of two models: the Vivo X90 and the Vivo X90 Pro. These phones will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Vivo’s official website. Ahead of the official India launch, we are excited to share with you the storage, color options, and pricing details of the Vivo X90 Series for the Indian market.
Vivo X90 Series Price, Storage and Color options for India:
As per our sources, the Vivo X90 will be launched in India with three storage options: 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB ROM, as well as 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM. It will be available in Asteroid Black and Breeze Blue colour options. The 8GB storage option is expected to be priced at around INR 60,000, while the 12GB+256GB option is expected to cost around INR 70,000.
The Vivo X90 Pro will be available only in the Legendary Black color option with 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM. The phone will cost around INR 85,000. Additionally, we can confirm that Vivo will introduce some additional bank discounts with the Vivo X90 Series.
Vivo X90 Series Specifications:
The Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro feature a similar 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, with FHD+ resolution, 1.07 billion colours, 1300 nits of brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz pulse-width modulation.
The phones are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 5G processor and are equipped with Vivo’s self-developed V2 Chip for superior photography performance. Additionally, they feature a Vapor Chamber Liquid Cooling System to prevent overheating.
The Vivo X90 uses a 4810mAh battery, while the Vivo X90 Pro uses a 4870mAh battery. Both models support 120W FlashCharge wired fast charging. The X90 Pro also supports wireless charging with 50W Wireless FlashCharge.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo X90 features a triple-rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX866vcs sensor, a 12MP Sony IMX663 Wide-Angle lens, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 Portrait lens.
On the other hand, the Vivo X90 Pro sports a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with a 1-inch sensor size and OIS support. It also features a 50MP Sony IMX758 sensor for Portrait with OIS and a 12MP Sony IMX663 Wide-Angle lens. All of the rear cameras on the Vivo X90 Series are certified with ZEISS T* Coating. For selfies, the phones use a 32MP lens.
The Vivo X90 Series runs on Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, and uses an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The Vivo X90 has a glass back with IP64 water and dust resistance, while the Pro model uses a vegan leather back with IP68 water and dust resistance.
