One of the greatest leaks involving the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may have been discovered, providing an extensive look at the outside of the forthcoming flagship. The thinner bezels and curved edges, about which we have previously written, are also more clearly visible in addition to the camera bump.
These renderings of the upcoming flagship were created via a cooperation with 9to5Mac and the extremely talented freelance 3D artist Ian Zelbo. A “trusted case maker” who typically receives correct information prior to the release of a smartphone sent the dimensions and details for the CAD model. Manufacturers of accessories would ultimately pay more if they received inaccurate information.
The premium phone has fewer bezels than its immediate predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro, to keep the same display size but having a smaller footprint. This will improve the holding of the next flagship, which is good news for customers, particularly those with little hands.
Also, if you though the camera bump could not possibly be much greater, you were mistaken. While we don’t yet know the precise details, these latest renderings suggest that the device will have improved sensors or lenses. Also, the phone’s rounded edges give the impression that it is similar to Apple’s newest 2023 MacBook Pro models.
Apart from design changes, Apple is bidding farewell to its proprietary Lightning port in favor of USB-C. @URedditor posted a zoomed-in picture of a USB-C port on Twitter, saying that it belonged to the iPhone 15 Pro, which also suggests that the bigger iPhone 15 Pro Max would have the same port. We observe pentalobe screws and speaker cutouts on each side of the chassis, which are not distinctive from what Apple uses on previous devices.
While specifics of this port have not been disclosed, it is expected that it will only enable approved accessories to facilitate data transmission and optimum charging for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
In the iPhone 15 Pro, the Dynamic Island is still there, but we did not anticipate any changes. Every client who did not switch to an iPhone 14 last year or this year will benefit from the Dynamic Island, which is said to be included in all the upcoming models arriving later this year. When compared to the smaller model, the iPhone 15 Pro Max should have the same physical alterations, but Apple may go one step further and include a periscope zoom lens.
These renderings may not accurately depict every element of Apple’s final design since they are based on an early CAD model. They do, however, provide us with a general notion of what to anticipate from one of this year’s most anticipated smartphones and all of the significant modifications, such as a more comfortable frame and USB-C.
