Iron Man Game in Works and Reportedly will Launch Before Black Panther

We discovered last month that Electronic Arts could be working on a new single-player Iron Man game. There was a rumour that it would be unveiled during yesterday’s Disney & Marvel Games Showcase. However, it was inaccurate.

However, Jeff Grubb of GiantBomb announced that it would soon be made public. He believes the reported Black Panther game won’t even be launched until after the Iron Man game.

This game is reportedly being worked on at EA’s Redmond office, which Kevin Stephens, a former studio head at Monolith Productions, created. Grubb said that EA Motive would handle the Iron Man game after they’ve finished working on the Dead Space remake, which is scheduled to release on January 27th for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.

Jeff also hinted in his Tweet that fans wouldn’t have to wait long to hear more about the upcoming Iron Man game Motive Studio is working on. However, the game has not yet received formal confirmation. Nevertheless, he claims that it will be accessible before Captain America: World War II.

As you presumably recall, Jade Raymond, a former executive at Ubisoft, established EA Motive approximately seven years ago. To assist DICE in developing Star Wars Battlefront II, their first responsibility was to take the lead in creating the single-player campaign. After joining forces with BioWare, Montréal Motive moved on to make the 2020 space warfare game Star Wars Squadrons.

No specific game mechanics has been revealed about the Iron Man game yet. Many players feel that Anthem’s flying features, which have long looked like a natural match for a game centred around the Marvel superhero, should be made available to fans by Electronic Arts.

It will be intriguing to see how this situation develops in the future and how long supporters must wait for an official statement. Till then, we will keep you updated about the game.
