Netflix has introduced Netflix Playground, a dedicated mobile app designed for children aged 8 and under. The app offers games and interactive activities based on Netflix properties.

It is now available on iOS and Android and is included with all Netflix memberships at no extra cost. There are no advertisements or in-app purchases. Separate from the main Netflix app, Playground requires a Netflix account for access. All content can also be downloaded for offline use.

At launch, Playground offers activities based on several properties:

  • Sesame Street features pattern recognition, object recognition, and free-form play
  • Peppa Pig includes counting, cake decorating, and other activities set in Peppatown
  • Dr. Seuss's Horton! provides interactive cause-and-effect play
  • Dr. Seuss's Red Fish, Blue Fish focuses on music-based play zones
  • Dr. Seuss's The Sneetches includes shape and pattern activities such as a Shape Printer and Vehicle Builder
  • Bad Dinosaurs offers puzzles, sticker scenes, music, and memory games
  • StoryBots features memory, pattern recognition, and music activities

Netflix has announced that additional content will be added throughout 2026, including Gabby's Dollhouse, KPop Demon Hunters, PJ Masks, My Little Pony, and PAW Patrol.

How to Get Netflix Playground on iOS and Android

Netflix Playground is available as a standalone app on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Users can sign in with their existing Netflix account. The app's Settings menu provides storage management for installed games, showing how much space each game takes up and allowing for easy deletion with a single tap.

Netflix has not provided a timeline for additional game releases beyond the titles announced for 2026.
