Returning Maps in Battlefield 6 Season 3
The main new addition is the Railway to Golmud map, a revamped version of Golmud Railway from Battlefield 4. EA and DICE describe it as the largest map in Battlefield 6, featuring open terrain, dynamic train routes that can be used for travel or ambushes, and multiple objective lanes designed for large-scale vehicle combat.
The second returning map is Cairo Bazaar, based on Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3. This map emphasizes close-quarters urban combat with narrow alleyways and has been updated with reworked objective layouts and flow adjustments aimed at improving competitive play.
Ranked Play and Battle Royale Solos in Season 3
Season 3 brings Ranked Play to REDSEC Battle Royale Quads, marking the first competitive ladder in the mode. The ranking system starts from Rookie and progresses through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Master, up to Elite. It features skill-based matchmaking, leaderboards, and tier-specific rewards.
Additionally, Battle Royale Solos is launching in Season 3 as a standalone queue for players who prefer solo play over squad-based modes.
Rumored Season 3 Weapons and Gadgets
Data miner Temporyal has identified several items in the game files that may arrive during Season 3, although none have been officially confirmed. The unconfirmed list includes the L115A3 bolt-action sniper rifle, RPK-74M light machine gun, M16A3 assault rifle, PP-19 Vityaz submachine gun, a Mobile Jammer Recon Gadget, Artillery Strike and Smoke Screen battle pickups, and a JAGM Strike call-in for Battle Royale. Some or all of these could be delayed or removed before the season begins.
